Sometimes you just gotta laugh

Sometimes you just gotta laugh about it. Laugh to feel better, laugh to keep form crying, laugh to keep from going insane. The doctor thought I had mono for the longest time... When I found out it was leukemia, I said, well... At least it's not mono... Hahahaha. The day I found out about my condition I called my grandma and told her I was gonna fight, I told her I was gonna be strong, I told her I was gonna beat it. After minutes of telling this to my grandma she asks, who is this?... Hahahahaha. Everyone keeps on asking me, can you do this? Can you that? I finally got fed up and told them, "It's called cancer not can'tcer."... Hahahahahaha. Don't read this and misjudge it. I don't wanna make light of my situation but like I said, sometimes you just gotta laugh.

  1. you are my heart, you are my world, you are my son, you will beat this!

  2. My son, I know that things seem dark and gloomy, but I want to encourage you to look for God throughout this process that you must go through to get better. God is here. Even though you might not get the answers quick enough, know that God goes before you and all you need to do is trust in Him. I love you and I like your heavenly Father will be with you every step of the way until you are cancer free!

The LORD himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.”
    Deuteronomy 31:7-9

  3. Just got an email from your grandmother, Ana. She and I were friends in Dallas and taught together for many years. She would tell stories about you. With God's help you can beat this. Especially laughing about it!!! Nothing beats laughter. You will be in my prayers. You can beat this. Will be following you. (Sounded a bit like stalking!!)
